Illustrator Research #9- Ryan Graber

Ryan Graber is a line art illustrator who graduated from the California College of Arts in San Francisco, and he currently resides in Los Angeles, CA. He's been featured in Society of Illustrators, American Illustration, and Communication Arts.

Some of his clients are Popular Mechanics, Google, New York Magazine, Visa, MSN, American Airline, Air Canada, Runners World, Shiva Iron Society, American Magazine, Eqsuire Russia, GQ Russia, Storage Magazine, Comptia, Lloyd and Co, AKQA, Cuban Council, and Euro RSCG.

His work method seems to focus on the use of pen and ink. Bit of color and shading are added with paint, but overall his focus is on the pen and ink medium.

I really enjoy how he plays with the ink in his work; he will add extra lines to emphasize the shading, or he'll use ink drops and specks as part of the background.

His website is located here: http://www.ryangraber.com/
