Illustrator Research #4- Marguerite Sauvage

Marguerite Sauvage is a 29 year old illustrator that has been since 2001. Self made and quite discreet, her illustrations are the best way to exprime herself. Published in press by Elle, Cosmopolitan, Glamour US or Flaunt, she also worked for children or lifestyle publishers. Her work was chosen in advertising by Azzaro, Apple, Urban Decay, Hermès or Continental Airlines. She exposed her work for Europe, Japan, South Korea or America.

With her work media constantly varying, Marguerite is always willing to experiment her illustration on new medias. She has worked on animation and films for Galeries Lafayette Service, Paul and Joe, Mc Donalds or Swaroski. She creates her work in order to create new, joyful and light images that are pleasant to be seen.

It seems to me her work has a very light feel to it. I really like the flow of her contours as well as the delicate, yet bright colors used. Her work all seems very elegant even with the different media used.
