Illustrator Research #32- Amy Patacchiola

Amy Patacchiola works as a freelance illustrator in Boston, MA. She received two Certificates of Merit from the Society of Illustrators of Los Angeles.  She was also a Finalist in the Dreams Exhibition at the New York Society of Illustrators and a Finalist in the National Collage Society,
Inc. Her media varies, with use of acrylics, pen and ink, vector art, and gouache to create collages and collage-like imagery among her art.

Some of her clients have been Parents and Kids Magazine, Northeastern University Magazine, Half Price Books, Massachusetts College of Art and Design, Llewellyn Worldwide, Ltd, Brandels University Magazine, Redmond Channel Partner, Workman Publishing, Catalyst Magazine, and Spirit of Change Magazine.

Amy's work has a nice whimsical feel to it, that doesn't seem to be seen as often with collages. Her use of line and color stand out, and they create the energy and playfulness in her pieces.
