Ian Dodds is a Birmingham based illustrator who has been freelance since leaving Wolverhampton University in 2002. His style combines mixtures of painting, drawing, photography, found objects, and printing which he fuses together in Photoshop.His clients in the past have been Financial Times Magazine, The Economist, Guardian, Department for Culture Media and Sport, Community Care Magazine, Sunday Herald, Welsh Development Agency, House Builder Magazine, Big Issue in the North, Radio Times, Independent On Sunday, Foreign Policy Magazine, Big Issue Scotland, Foreign Service Journal, Alpha Magazine, Heyday Magazine, and Nursing Standards Magazine.
His mixed media aspects stood out to me, as how he incorporates it truly deals with strong psychological and political issues.
