Illustrator Research #19- Tina Healey

Tina Healey has been a digital illustrator for about ten years. She has a real passion for anything "retro"; she finds inspiration in anything from funky vintage clothing and furniture stores to old 1970's family photos. Tina's background is mainly in graphic design so her illustrations tend to be stylized with an emphasis on color and composition.

Her past clients have been Aidells Sausage, Disney, Don Sebastiani & Sons, Fetzer Vineyards, John Gray's Mars Venus, Nickelodeon, Oral B, Dorchester Publishing, Papyrus, Graphique de France, Scholastic Magazine, Williams Sonoma, Sports Illustrated for Women, Sunset Magazine, Target, Time, Inc., Harcourt School Publishers, Quirk Books, Coty, Inc., Kimberly-Clark, Blimpies, and Amer. Assoc. of Pharmaceutical Scientist.

I enjoy her use of color as well as the graphic elements. This is definitely one of the simpler styles I like that works nicely with color choice and composition arrangement.
