Illustrator Research #27- Traci Daberko

Website

When Traci Daberko started her graphic design career, she also found herself exploring the world of illustration. Traci illustrates in a range styles from clean digital vector, lines and shapes, to a detailed approach with painterly color and texture. Along with her own design business, Traci co-owns and provides illustration, photography and fonts for an online royalty free stock imagery company called StockBucket.com.

Some of her past clients have been Starbucks, Nordstrom, Mountaineer Books, Globe Pequot Books, Seattle Metropolitan, Seattle Times, NW Source, Precept Brands, Otis Kenyon Wine, Corvus Cellars, Velocity Cellars, Madison Park Greetings, Portland Monthly, Skirt Magazine, Unleashed Books, Braided River Books, Skipstone Books, Windermere Real Estate, and Singular Magazine.

I like Traci's simple and graphic style, mainly how she creates her textures. The textures really add to the graphic shapes with a sense of time or age while still remaining fresh through the design.
