Leon Mussche has been working as an independent illustrator since 2003. He graduated at the Academy of Arts in Breda, the Netherlands in 2001. He now works for a variety of clients and is based in Amsterdam and Oslo. His main field of work is in editorial illustration, and he works with digital vector art in general with some mixed media and collage elements incorporated.
His clients have been Merck Pharmaceuticals, Microsoft, DNB Bank, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Planer UK, Strictly Magazine, Charles Schwabb Investment Bank, Mullen Advertising, Female Fitness Magazine, Microsoft, Mazars Accountancy, Nouveau, Hearst, Delta Airlines, and Tempo-Team.
His style in a lot of his pieces has inspired me in my own digital work, especially in his mixed media pieces. He has a focus on lineart and shape with digital aspects placed on traditional, which is where I'm striving for my work to reach.
