Illustrator Research #21- Joyce Hesselberth

Website

Joyce Hesselberth has experience as a pring and multi-media designer, and she has created work for a variety of editorial and corporate clients. She graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1989 with a degree in Graphic Design. She has taught workshops at the Maryland Institute, College of Art and has lectured for AIGA Richmond. Her work overall involves creating digital collages involving a focus on form and texture.

Her clients in the past have been AARP, The Atlantic Monthly, Business Week, The Chronicle Review, Emerge, Forbes, Fraser Paper, Glamour, Janus, New York Times, Newsweek, Reader's Digest, Sports Illustrated, Time, US News & World Report, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, and Yoga Journal.

I like how she creates figures and forms with her collages. They're really expressive with their simplicity, and they each could have their own detailed narrative.
